Founded in 2001, MaXXimum has rightfully attained an exceptional reputation among the exhibitors of Western Europe with his unique portfolio that offers an exceptional commercial success potential for all audiences.

Movie hits “Wild Heart, Ivy Mansion, The Class of Chaos 2 and 3, The Ottoman Republic  as well as the Valley of the Wolves” have presented MaXXimum the renowned Box Office Germany Award six times within the past six years.

The films MaXXimum offers will appeal to the ethnical residents of Europe as well as the audiences who enjoy authenticity, good laughs and deep romance.
Starting from the 2009 onwards, MaXXimum tightens its connections to the German film industry and will proudly start distributing German productions such as “Fightgirl Ayse” and “Evet, I Do”.

THEATRICAL DISTRIBUTION
According to Entertainment Media Verlag, 174 distributors are listed in Germany, including the majors. MaXXimum, being one of the youngest of them all, has reached a market share within the 10 most successful distributors in its first four years by skillfully using the advantages of a long ignored niche market in Europe.

The achievements of its portfolio have enabled MaXXimum to expand its services to eight different European countries in 2004. This expansion includes sister companies in Switzerland and France as well as liaison offices in Belgium and Denmark.

MaXXimum has thereby grown to be a unique and specialized partner for all exhibitors in Europe, who embodies sustainability, quality of services, commercial potential, international creativity and 24-hours of support.

In Spring 2007 MaXXimum has entered into the DVD market, by releasing three Turkish titles at once. These releases have not only helped the company to expand its scope of business, but also enabled strong frontiers against the piracy within the Turkish market.

All titles released by MaXXimum are chosen after a very thorough and skeptical examination in terms of content and commercial potential. The films are intended to reach a wide audience; adults and children, film enthusiasts and even to older people who are not typical cinemagoers anymore.

The primary and principal concern in the composition of our portfolio is "the appropriateness".
This applies to all our selections from commercial box office hits such as "The Class of Chaos" or "Ivy Mansion" to author films like "Ice Cream, I Scream" MaXXimum knows that the acceptance of the market can only be sustained with this diligence.

RESPONSIBILITY & CONSULTING
Since its foundation, MaXXimum has guided and aided many film projects in Turkey, either by guidance through the incentive organizations or by direct support.

Moreover, MaXXimum provided consulting support for many filmmakers from western countries, who wish to enter into a co-production with Turkey. Many Turkish films that have enjoyed a release in Europe, was realized by a direct or indirect support of MaXXimum.
